Our Team

All Podiatrists at the Kingsbridge Chiropody Practice are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council, a government regulatory body, which ensures that clinicians are regularly monitored and that they attend continuing professional development and training to ensure up to date knowledge and treatment regimes. They are also member of the professional body for Podiatrists, The Royal College of Podiatry, which means that they have qualified via a 3 year honours degree course at University and are hence eligible to work in the NHS or in Private Practice.

Lucille Tomlinson BSc (Hons), MRCPod

Lucy is the owner/director of the practice and is our lead podiatrist. She qualified with a first class honours degree in Podiatric Medicine from the University of Plymouth in 1998, and worked as a senior podiatrist in an NHS Trust in Lincolnshire, prior to moving to Devon. She took over Kingsbridge Chiropody Practice in early 2001, and has overseen the growth of the practice to what it is today. Lucille has a particular interest in dealing with patients who have feet considered as at risk and patients who require nail surgery for ingrowing toenails.

Lucy spends plenty of time walking her dogs, Pippa, Rosie and Tavish and has a keen interest in collecting antique English pottery.
